Legal & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) GLOBALG.A.P. c/o FoodPLUS GmbH

The GLOBALG.A.P. brand is owned and operated by FoodPLUS GmbH; a limited liability company registered in Cologne, Germany. FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing. FoodPLUS GmbH also serves as the legal entity holding the international copyrights for the GLOBALG.A.P. brand and the GGN consumer label which stands for certified, responsible farming and transparency.

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) in full-time (39h/week) to start immediately. This position is not a syndic lawyer position. 

What you will do:

• Preparation and reviewing of contracts in German and English
• Contact person for the departments in all legal and compliance matters
• Evaluation and presentation of legal opportunities and risks
• Examination of legal issues in close cooperation with our external lawyers and data privacy officer

What we are looking for:

• Law graduate with first state examination; or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience as in-house counsel
• Proficient in German and English (C1 level)
• Knowledge in the areas of commercial, general, contract law and data protection
